Having had very physical jobs in the past I relied on Sports and Remedial Massage to maintain my own body, keeping it balanced and flexible. From my first session I became fascinated and inspired by how the therapist could feel the tension and could detect the imbalances that caused me pain. I found her approach simple, helpful and it made perfect sense. I was so interested I trained with the LSSM at the highest level available to make this a career which I thoroughly enjoy. I have since trained in Fascial Bodywork (which is something I am very passionate about) with Art Riggs and Anatomy Trains with James Earls and built my own business helping people to manage their bodies effectively and reduce their pain.

It is incredibly rewarding seeing my patients improve and return to their chosen sports/activities knowing I helped them. My treatments not only look at reducing pain and tension in soft tissues but also the long term causes often brought on by compensation patterns, postural imbalances and old injuries. I tailor your massage session to suit your specific requirements and like to explain what I am doing and why so that you have an awareness of your own body and how you can improve things yourself.

As a keen ultra-distance runner I specialise in helping runners by combining my soft tissue therapy with natural running coaching. I have learnt how to reduce the risk of injury and increase running efficiency, enabling me to run 60 miles plus without problems, by introducing barefoot running drills into my training. I enjoy sharing this experience and knowledge with other runners to improve their running.

I live near Winchester, love the area and want to spread the word about Sports and Remedial Massage to as many people as I can because not enough people are aware of the benefits.
